School of Business, Soochow University is proud to announce that we have become a member of the Association of Asia Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) on April 2023. This is an important milestone for us as it demonstrates our commitment to providing high-quality education to our students in the community. The AAPBS exists to promote excellence in business and management education in the Asia-Pacific region through collaboration, research, teaching, and partnerships. The AAPBS’s goal is to create a distinctive Asian management education model that aligns with global perspectives. By fostering high standards and continuous improvement, aim to enhance the impact of business schools and their graduates on society.
On May 8th, 2023, Dean Prof. Jinshyang Roan attended the AAPBS Academic Conference at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Shah Alam, Malaysia. Delegates from Asia region universities well attended the event. The two-day conference featured workshops and presentations on various topics, such as Communities Based Learning (CML), practical learning & works, and business school innovation eco-system. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from each other and gain practical skills they could apply to their respective schools.
As a member of AAPBS, we can access valuable resources and support from other like-minded organizations nationwide. We look forward to collaborating with these schools and learning from their experiences. Additionally, being part of this network will enable us to continue improving our educational practices and curriculum. Our membership with AAPBS reflects our ongoing efforts to provide innovative teaching methods, cutting-edge technology, and rigorous academic programs to prepare our students for college, career, and life success.
