On January 12th (Tuesday), we held the "Soochow University Business School 109 School Year End Banquet" at Taipei Garden Hotel to thank our teachers and colleagues for their hard work and assistance for a year. About two hundred full-time teachers and administrative colleagues participated on that day, and the president, vice president, the head of the school's first-level unit, the president of the alumni association and various departmental associations, Franklin investment consultants, outstanding alumni and retired full-time teachers etc. were invited. Arrangement of seats is different from previous that was according to the order of the departments. Instead, the seats are arranged in a random number. It is hoped this will allow teachers from different departments to know each other.
The banquet was co-hosted by Associate Professor Chin-Sheng Chen and Assistant Professor Yi-Chen Wu from the Department of International Business. After the speeches by President Wei-Ta Pan and Dean Tsu-Tan Fu, the banquet kicked off, and took this opportunity to present the 109 School Year Business School Service Excellence Award. Teachers awarded: Prof. Chinn-Ping Fan from the Department of Economics, Lecture Chuan-Tu Chen from the Department of Accounting, Prof. Mei-Ying Liu from the Department of Business Administration, Professor Fur-Hsing Wen from the Department of International Business, Associate Professor Yu-Fen Chiu from the Department of Financial Engineering and Actuarial Mathematics, and Assistant Professor Chang-Yi Gao from the Department of Computer Science and Information Management. Thanks to teachers’ assistance and services, the banquet accompanied by wonderful singing performances, the Nakasi music and lottery activities, was lively and full of laughter. Finally, the banquet came to the end with teachers and teaching assistants karaoke on-demand. We wish all New Year, New look.
