In recent days, School of Business has delegated Assistant Professor Lu, Yi-Chun from the Department of Business Administration to participate in a two-day case writing workshop in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, Japan. The workshop, hosted by the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS), was organized by Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) and delivered by the Thompson Center for Business Cases Studies at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The participation yielded fruitful results. During the workshop, scholars from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and other countries shared their valuable experiences in case teaching, while also conveying the efforts and achievements of our College of Business in promoting internationalization to representatives from various business schools across Asia. This unique platform for exchange holds the promise of fostering future collaboration among participating institutions and providing our faculty members with diverse learning opportunities.
School of Business has always placed great importance on cultivating an international perspective. By engaging in various academic exchange activities, our faculty members not only could engage in profound interactions with scholars from different cultural backgrounds but also to broaden their horizons and enhance their knowledge. This workshop is a part of our bilingual learning program within the School of Business, and we will continue to actively promote the internationalization process of our school, creating a more open and diverse learning environment for our students.
The successful participation in this workshop owes much to the meticulous organization by the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools, as well as the wholehearted support from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and the Thompson Center for Business Cases Studies at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. We extend our gratitude to all parties involved, enabling the participating faculty members to have such valuable learning opportunities. Looking ahead, School of Business will continue to actively engage in international exchange activities, encouraging more faculty members and students to venture beyond our borders and engage in academic interactions with scholars and international students from around the world, fostering mutual understanding and friendship. We believe that through such efforts, our students will gain even greater growth and development in the globalized environment.
